Thinking and hoping ...

A small traditional house with a courtyard ,on the shores of the mighty Bay Of Bengal .He sits on the porch and smells the see breeze .As the air fills his lungs , afeeling of contentment spreads through his body .Small lights glow in the distance .Ships ,sailing off to far away lands , visiting far away places . How beautiful they looked , as they flickered in the distance , complementing the stars in the sky . The moon shone brilliantly ,dazzling any soul who laid his eyes on her . He felt a delicate touch on his shoulder and as he turned and looked at her he knew , at that moment , what paradise was . In the silence they shared , in her beautiful captivating eyes , that hint of a smile on her face ,her dark long hair ,he lost himself as tears of joy flowed down his cheek and in that moment , he experienced true bliss .

@ Swap ---> Like the sea lots . The moon is always 'her' ... I am a man :) .

@ Ms. V ---> Nah... Wish I were...

For some reason I can't isolate the 'her' in the last line from the moon..it's like you're still romancing the moon there..probably the effect of the beautiful detail in the rest of the post.

hey...amazing description of the sea...as you said there is something about the sea. People can never tire from writing about it....echo the thoughts of freespirit though.

hmmm.. To me the moon has always been "he" and "him".As freespirit says, for a while I thought you were speaking of the girl all throught out. Later realised that the first reference to her was to the moon!!!

p.s. HIIIgh time you removed the word check.. I am getting bugged.. I always enter it wrong!!!

Does not the moon , in some way , relate to our beloved ? Do we , if we do love someone deeply , think of the person we love when we see the moon ? Thats probably why its a him to you and a her to me .

Thanks MRL and Hedonia ...

Man, I do wish you'd find your love soon :). Without love, if we are getting such brilliant pieces, wonder what will be the output (;-) :-D) when there's love!!

That's the most appropriate and concise explanation I ever got!!!
AS I read it back again,I realise that you have cautiously moved your description of the moon to the lady!!! Awesome indeed!!

The lines describing the moon and the stars are beautiful...contemplating the stars in the sky....dazzling any soul....But,why do tears of joy flow down his eyes?

@ The Spotless Mind : I believe that tears , the moment those drops flow out , increase the intensity of emotion . Thats why .

@ Radha --> Thank you , but these flights dont last long , do they ....
